Perfume information

Description of the composition

The scent of Carnicure is built as an expressive line of development, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Marlou is evident from the opening to the final trail. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum emphasizes the depth and body this composition needs.

At the opening of the pyramid you detect airy floral top notes: Orange blossom and Violet. These 2 notes shape floral tenderness that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

In the central layer you notice musk and whipped cream carrying a leathery musky direction. At drydown level the structure settles through Civet, Patchouli, Sandalwood and musk, extending a warm vetiver trail.

The internal accord map is driven by these accords: Animalistic, Gourmet, Musc and Wood forming a compact and readable structure.

From the group perspective the structure relies on Whiteflower, Floral, Musk and Sweet. The palette also extends to Animals and Wood.

Taken together Carnicure reads as a cohesive composition — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the scent structures best experienced through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This musk is truly captivating, but at the same time, its scent is quite raw and wild notes clearly dominate. Nature feels very vivid here, but the sweetness and woody accents seem to get lost against this animalistic component. Overall, it's a perfume that evokes mixed feelings )
