Perfume information

Description of the composition

The scent of Direction East is shaped as a living composition, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The style of Maryaj is clear in the way notes appear and fade. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Citrus, Floral, Spicy and Ambery. The framework further includes Musk.

In the first seconds you meet sparkling citrus opening notes: Lemon and Neroli. Exactly these 2 notes build sunny vitality that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

In the heart you detect Coriander holding a cinnamon-nutmeg direction. At drydown level the line is anchored through Ambergris and musk, reinforcing a deep amber trail.

The olfactory framework is driven by these accords: Citrus, Floral, Musc and Amber with each one in a clear role. Background accords such as Spicy add depth to the backdrop. The gender direction is masculine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

In summary Direction East sounds complete from start to finish — the start forms character, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best judged on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The scent is indeed sharp and fresh, with clear notes of lemon and spices. The straightforwardness sounds quite dense. The citrus note is a bit irritating; if it were softened a little, it would be much more pleasant. But overall, it gives confidence and positive emotions )
