The scent of Mauboussin Homme is shaped as a layered story, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Mauboussin comes through from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de toilette supports the right density and pace of development.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Citrus, Green, Aromatic and Spicy. It also reaches into Wood, Gourmet and Musk.

In the top tier you detect sparkling citrus first notes: Bergamot, Lavender and Rosemary.

When the opening settles you detect Cinnamon, Patchouli and Sage keeping a spicy-aromatic direction.

The fragrance is certainly impressive, but I can't say it blew me away. I chose it as a gift for an acquaintance, and honestly, I didn't expect him to like it so much. He wears it constantly, and even when we accidentally meet in the city, I can smell its sillage. It's really light and a bit cool, but at the same time captivating. It smells quite interesting, but I can't say how it unfolds. In any case, it emphasizes masculinity and strictness, but perhaps it's not quite what I was looking for 😔
