Fragrance information:

Pure Mel Merio arrived in 2014 — and it was immediately clear this one was here to stay. By character, a feminine fragrance drawing from the fern and fruit families. Available as eau de parfum.

Made in Germany. A rich, layered composition that reveals itself differently depending on your mood and the time of day.

A great perfume doesn't need lengthy explanations — it speaks for itself. The official website of Mel Merio — http://www.clive.com.

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Pure evolves as a layered story, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The creative approach of Mel Merio is recognizable in the way notes appear and fade. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum supports the right density and pace of development.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Fruit and Wood. At family level the composition sits in Fern and Fruit.

When the pyramid is blended into one block the opening appears as one connected movement with a pulsating fruity mood: Fruit note. Here 1 note sounds as one voice, creating thrilling fruity juiciness that feels seamless.

The inner phases are read as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The profile is feminine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

In summary Pure sounds complete from start to finish — the start forms character, the central phase adds depth, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the scent structures best understood through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Smells like shampoo. Just recently, I stumbled upon a video by a blogger who was discussing shower gel scents in perfumery. Honestly, none of the perfumes she showed sparked any interest in me. But this fragrance-it's definitely something like a shower gel or shampoo with notes of sea freshness and sweet mandarins, as if you're on the beach, not in the shower
