Perfume information

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Oeuvre unfolds as a cohesive olfactory arc, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The signature of Merhis Perfumes is evident in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum supports a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

As soon as the fragrance opens you meet radiant jasmine first notes: Orange blossom and Pink pepper. These 2 notes form light sensuality that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

In the heart you sense Coffee and Jasmine holding a dense confectionery direction.

The internal accord map rests on these accords: Gourmet, Floral, Wood and Spicy with each one in a clear role. The gender direction is unisex, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

At olfactory-group level the profile is anchored in Whiteflower, Spicy, Gourmet and Wood. The palette also extends to Floral. Within olfactory families the scent maps to Floral.

Taken together Oeuvre reads as a cohesive composition — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail. These are the fragrances best experienced through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Jasmine and orange blossom combined with coffee and vanilla create an interesting fragrance. It reminds me of Black Opium, but not as heavy. Perhaps it's thanks to the pepper which adds freshness
