Description of the composition

The note pyramid of La Piscine unfolds as a layered story, where accents shift without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Miguel Matos is evident in details that define the fragrance identity. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Fairy, Mineral, Fruit and Whiteflower. It also reaches into Green, Ambery, Musk and Floral.

In the top tier you meet glowing neon opening notes: Aldehydes and Aquatic accord.

In the middle phase you sense Coconut, Geosmin, Jasmine, Tuberose and Violet leaf keeping a silky white floral direction. At the foundation the composition is fixed through Ambroxan, Cashmeran, Costus, Marine accord and Moss, extending a deep amber trail.

The olfactory framework is shaped by these accords: Animalistic, Aquatic, Floral and Fruit without random overlap. Background accords such as Musc, Wood, Amber and Marine enrich the profile without taking over. The gender direction is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

Taken together La Piscine holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the central phase adds depth, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the scent structures best understood in wear.
