Description of the composition

The composition of Oud is built as a cohesive olfactory arc, where accents shift without rush and without gaps. The style of Oros is recognizable in details that define the fragrance identity. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum emphasizes the right density and pace of development.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Floral, Spicy, Whiteflower and Ambery. It also reaches into Wood, Musk and Gourmet. From a family perspective the composition sits in East and Wood.

As soon as the fragrance opens you detect delicate floral top notes: Rose and Saffron.

When the opening settles you sense Geranium and Jasmine keeping a velvety rose-iris direction.

The olfactory framework is driven by these accords: Floral, Musc, Wood and Amber with each one in a clear role. Additional accords such as Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The profile is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

In summary Oud reads as a cohesive composition — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the fragrances best judged in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.
