Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Eau de Soin unfolds as a continuous scent journey, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The creative approach of Payot is clear from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction.

Without strict stage separation the opening appears as one connected movement with a inspiring floral mood: Floral Notes and Fresh Notes. In this format 2 notes sound as one coherent layer, forming the effect of a living bouquet that keeps the opening compact and balanced.

The heart and base are perceived as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which gives the structure continuity.

The olfactory framework rests on these accords: Abstract and Floral without random overlap. The profile is feminine, which clarifies the composition character. For persistence Low points to a sustained drydown presence. In diffusion Weak defines the projection profile in space.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Floral and Fairy.

Overall Eau de Soin sounds complete from start to finish — the start forms character, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best judged on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Another cotton-scented perfume fluff. It's clean, subtle, but totally doesn't feel like a perfume. If someone walked past me wearing it, I wouldn't even realize it was a fragrance. More like, it's just the smell of freshly washed laundry
