Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Dark Wood is built as a cohesive olfactory arc, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The style of PDBR perfume is recognizable in details that define the fragrance identity. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Perfume extract keeps a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Spicy, Sweet, Balsamic and Wood. It also reaches into Fruit, Floral and Gourmet. From a family perspective the fragrance belongs to East.

In a unified mixed pyramid the opening appears as one connected movement with a warm spicy mood: Cardamom, Dark Chocolate, Gurjun balsam, Oud, Plum, Poppy and Saffron.

The deeper layers are read as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The accord architecture rests on these accords: Balsamic, Gourmet, Floral and Fruit forming a compact and readable structure. Secondary accord layers such as Wood and Spicy add depth to the backdrop.
