Description of the composition

The composition of Expression is shaped as a layered story, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Guru Perfumes is clear in details that define the fragrance identity. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

At the opening of the pyramid you meet piquant warm opening notes: Caraway and Jasmine. These 2 notes set warm spicy pulse that is impossible to miss.

When the opening settles you meet Frankincense, Patchouli and Saffron keeping a resinous meditative direction. In the final layer the structure settles through Ebony, Labdanum, Sandalwood, Vetiver and White Cedar, shaping a warm vetiver trail.

The accord profile is driven by these accords: Balsamic, Floral, Wood and Spicy without random overlap. The profile is unisex, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Spicy, Whiteflower, Balsamic and Wood. Within olfactory families the composition sits in Fern and Wood.

Taken together Expression sounds complete from start to finish — the start forms character, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory. This is the type of composition best judged in wear.
