The olfactory structure of Buttoned Down is built as a continuous scent journey, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Poesie is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction.

Without strict stage separation the fragrance opens as a single chord with a architectural woody mood: Bergamot, Cedar, Lavender and Vetiver. In this format 4 notes sound as one voice, forming lasting warm resonance that keeps the opening compact and balanced.

The middle and base stages are read as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which gives the structure continuity.

The internal accord map rests on these accords: Aromatic, Citrus and Wood without random overlap. The gender direction is masculine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Citrus, Wood and Green.
