Fragrance information:

In 2003, Princesse Marina De Bourbon introduced Asteria — a fragrance that's hard to forget. A feminine fragrance rooted in the floral, musk, and wood families. The fragrance is presented as eau de parfum.

It has a delicate sillage, staying close and personal. Every application feels like a little ritual — longevity is low. Behind this fragrance stands France and its rich perfumery heritage. Asteria Princesse Marina De Bourbon — the choice of those who appreciate depth and character in every detail.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Asteria is built as a cohesive olfactory arc, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The style of Princesse Marina De Bourbon is recognizable in the way notes appear and fade. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum keeps the right density and pace of development.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Wood, Fruit, Spicy and Floral. It also reaches into Ambery, Musk and Whiteflower. From a family perspective the composition sits in Floral, Musk and Wood.

In the top tier you detect clean cedar top notes: Juniper and Plum.

In the heart you sense Clove, Peony and Rose carrying a opulent floral direction.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Floral, Fruit, Musc and Wood without random overlap. Background accords such as Amber and Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The profile is feminine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived. In wear duration Low suggests confident staying power.

Overall Asteria reads as a cohesive composition — the start forms character, the central phase adds depth, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the scent structures best understood through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.
Persistence
Low (1 to 2 hours)
2
Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The scent is definitely an acquired taste, but its composition and sound are quite strange. Personally, it didn't work for me. Overall, not impressed. HORRIBLE!

An interesting scent, I must say. Clove with a spicy nuance and sweetish plum, plus petals of a bearded rose. It seems quite rich and expressive, but whether I like it or not - I can't say yet

This perfume truly stands out with its brightness and allure. Its longevity is top-notch, and the sillage is simply captivating

I stumbled upon photos of Asteria Princesse online. They come not only in regular small bottles but also in ones like Bleu or Rouge, only the bottle color here is more transparent and blue. I wonder, are there really differences in the scent of these fragrances? Or is it just different packaging? Maybe it's a fake altogether?
