Fragrance information:

I'm joined the Pupa portfolio in 2015. A feminine fragrance belonging to the fruit and floral families. Perfumers Luca Maffei and Maurizio Cerizza joined forces to create something truly special. Offered in eau de parfum concentration.

It carries a moderate sillage, leaving a trail that lingers pleasantly in the air. Longevity is moderate — not too much, not too little, just right. Country of origin — Italy, and that already says something about the quality. I'm Pupa unfolds gradually, effortlessly, and with great refinement — a perfect choice for day or evening.

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of I'm is shaped as an expressive line of development, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The creative approach of Pupa comes through from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum sets the depth and body this composition needs.

At olfactory-group level the profile is anchored in Fruit, Spicy, Floral and Animals. The palette also extends to Balsamic, Gourmet, Musk and Whiteflower. Within olfactory families the scent maps to Floral and Fruit.

At the opening of the pyramid you sense sweet-fresh fruity top notes: Blackcurrant, Clove and Strawberry.

In the heart you sense Rose, Violet and honeysuckle keeping a harmonious floral direction.

The accord profile is shaped by these accords: Balsamic, Floral, Fruit and Musc with each one in a clear role. Additional accords such as Amber and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The profile is feminine, which clarifies the composition character. In longevity terms Middle indicates a stable lasting impression.

In summary I'm holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the central phase adds depth, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best understood on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.
