Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Chagrin is built as a cohesive olfactory arc, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Reflexion is evident in the way notes appear and fade. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum sets the right density and pace of development.

The olfactory framework is driven by these accords: Gourmet, Floral, Musc and Powdery without random overlap. Secondary accord layers such as Leather enrich the profile without taking over. The stylistic positioning is unisex, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

When the pyramid is blended into one block the opening appears as one connected movement with a gourmand enveloping mood: Almond, Fragrant Tobacco, Leather accord, Powdery notes, Tonka bean and musk.

The deeper layers are felt as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which keeps the fragrance coherent.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Gourmet, Floral, Leather and Powdery. It also reaches into Spicy and Musk. At family level the scent maps to Leather.

Overall Chagrin holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best understood in wear.
