Fragrance character

Richard White Chocola Eau de Parfum is a feminine fragrance with a floral-gourmand character, built around a soft white chocolate accord.

This eau de parfum is for those who love sweet, cozy and noticeable compositions, but prefer the dessert theme to sound elegant rather than overly heavy.

The fragrance was created by Richard, a French brand founded in 2017.

The brand is known for its avant-garde approach and its desire to create unconventional combinations, so White Chocola comes across as more than just a sweet perfume: it is a modern interpretation of creamy, almond and floral accords.

Notes and development

The composition opens with the freshness of mandarin, the delicate spiciness of nutmeg and the radiant scent of orange blossom.

This introduction adds airiness to the sweet fragrance and keeps it from immediately becoming too dense and gourmand.

At the heart, white chocolate sounds especially expressive, supported by vanilla and almond.

The accord is creamy, delicate and enveloping, while the floral nuances lend it femininity and make the overall impression more polished.

As the fragrance unfolds, almond blossom, cherry blossom and mimosa join the chocolate-vanilla softness.

The drydown preserves its sweet, tender mood, leaving the impression of an almond dessert with a subtle powdery-floral haze on the skin.

Who it suits and when to wear it

Richard White Chocola Eau de Parfum is positioned as a feminine fragrance.

It will appeal to fans of gourmand compositions who appreciate white flowers, vanilla, almond nuances and a soft chocolate trail, as well as to anyone looking for a cozy, compliment-worthy and instantly recognizable fragrance.

The composition develops best in cool weather: autumn, winter and early spring.

It is suitable for a date, an evening stroll, an intimate gathering or a quiet day when you want to add warmth and sweet expressiveness to your look.

In hot weather, the fragrance may feel denser, so it is best applied sparingly in summer.

Sillage and dosage

The fragrance has moderate sillage: it is noticeable near the wearer without trying to fill the entire space.

For application to the skin, eau de parfum in the amount of 1 to 2 sprays is enough to enjoy the vanilla, almond and white chocolate without overwhelming the senses.

Two to three sprays can be applied to clothing, especially if you want to prolong the scent and accentuate its soft, sweet trail.

On fabric, the composition usually smells smoother and lasts longer; however, it is best to test the fragrance on an inconspicuous area before applying it to delicate materials.

What to compare the fragrance with

In terms of mood, White Chocola can be considered alongside Lancôme Poeme, Christian Richard White Chocola and Pantheon Roma Trastevere.

Its individuality, however, lies in the combination of white chocolate, almond, vanilla and delicate floral nuances—this is a sweet, feminine and emotional fragrance with a modern French accent.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

White Chocola opens with bright sweet mandarin, but it quickly disappears. Almost immediately, warm buns fresh from the oven appear. In the middle, the pastry becomes more vanilla-like, while a thick chocolate syrup can be sensed on top.
The bready, buttery note lasts the longest. It is dense and slightly greasy, completely covering the flowers, which I can barely smell.
The fragrance is rich; it is better not to apply it in hot weather, as it becomes stuffy and heavy. I mainly smell sweetness, vanilla and a little spice that gently tickles the nose. Perhaps this is how nutmeg and a powdery note with an almond nuance show up.
I will save it for cool days when I want a warm, sweet mood🤍

This is insanely delicious 🫠 Right after applying, I smell mandarin, but it disappears quickly. Then comes white chocolate with almond: creamy, vanilla-like, sweet, with a slight nutty bitterness. The first time, my mom even asked whether I was baking cupcakes. And indeed, there's a warm smell of sponge cake fresh from the oven that makes you wait for the moment you can finally taste it :D This is my first truly confectionery fragrance, and I'm already won over by the genre
