The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

The scent of bergamot is simply fresh, and the combination of rose, geranium, and magnolia looks amazing. The rose with a strawberry hint gradually gives way to a tart green note, and the abstract-fruity magnolia quickly disappears as dry patchouli and a sparkling woody base take the stage. I learned that Maurice Roucel was the first to use Chinese magnolia essential oil in Tocade Rochas, and he's really proud to have discovered this unique ingredient, which later became a real hit 🌟

Oh, how I adore fragrances like these! It's just something incredible! They bring joy and create a festive atmosphere. The geranium rose here smells so much like geranium that it clearly dominates, but that doesn't stop it from being amazing. The vanilla, which doesn't remind me of confectionery sweets but rather something refined and sophisticated, is simply captivating. Most of the fragrance is a real delight! Although towards the end on the skin, as often happens, the sweetness is a bit much, I gladly accept this sweetness, which isn't often the case. I confess, sometimes I want to say: "Pot, stop cooking!" But, you know, I'm so happy I discovered this beauty recently! I couldn't possibly pass by this miracle! ))

A scent that evokes nostalgia. My mom used it too, and we still have this bottle. For me, it's like a warm childhood memory, very cozy and familiar. There's something special about it that makes you remember pleasant moments )

Vanilla geranium brings up associations with something warm and coffee-like for me. There are retro notes, but they're not intrusive. The sweetness isn't overdone, and there's a slight bitterness. It's really pleasant and intriguing!!!

I remembered this perfume when I saw a miniature with a green cap. I found a few other versions: yellow and blue. Modern hundred-ml bottles are only red, like here. I wonder if anyone knows if there's a difference in the scents from those times depending on the cap color? The one I remember brings back 90s nostalgia

This fragrance really hit the spot for me in summer, though I admit it's a bit heavy for hot weather. But now that autumn has arrived, its scent is simply stunning. The vanilla geranium gives it an unusual beauty, and this combination is truly surprising. It unfolds especially well in the fresh air, and the sillage is simply gorgeous

This perfume is a bitter vanilla, with prominent notes of iris and geranium, as well as amber. I'm glad I only chose mini versions

The fragrance is simply amazing in its sound! If you look at the bottle, you immediately imagine something bright and citrusy, but if you don't apply it, you feel vanilla geranium. I can't say it's unequivocally pleasant, rather a retro-scent. But as soon as I apply it, Tocade Rochas unfolds on my skin in all its glory! Vanilla combined with that very scent of grandma's red lipstick from childhood envelops me in a delicate, powdery haze, very warm and light, evoking real emotions 🌟
