Perfume information

Description of the composition

The scent of All That Glitters is built as an expressive line of development, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The signature of Rue21 is evident in details that define the fragrance identity. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction.

From the first breath you meet radiant lemon-bergamot top notes: Cyclamen, Grapefruit, Lime and Mandarin. Exactly these 4 notes set a sensation of cool purity that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

When the opening settles you notice Apple, Freesia, Lily, Prune, Violet and White Flowers keeping a soft nectarous direction.

The accord profile is built around these accords: Abstract, Citrus, Gourmet and Floral with each one in a clear role. Background accords such as Fruit, Musc and Wood expand the olfactory volume in the background.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Floral, Citrus, Fruit and Mineral. It also reaches into Whiteflower, Sweet, Wood and Musk. From a family perspective the composition sits in Floral, Fruit and Gourmet.

Taken together All That Glitters holds a coherent structure — the opening sets direction, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best experienced on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The freshness of this fragrance is simply amazing! It's bright, with rosy notes and a light ozone tint. You can feel its transparency and crystal-clear quality, but at the same time, there's something synthetic that reminds me of other similar compositions. If you like peony scents, then this is definitely worth trying! 🌸
