About Rue21 Twentyone Black

Rue21 is a brand that has always spoken the language of teenage freedom and vivid emotions. Its fragrance line is a direct reflection of accessible fashion and a carefree spirit.

Launched in 2010, Twentyone Black became a true gem of the collection. This women's fragrance instantly captivates with its bold sweetness and freshness.

Character and Scent Profile

Twentyone Black belongs to the Floral and Fruity families. Its concentration is Eau de Parfum, ensuring richness and longevity.

A very strong sillage means this fragrance will not go unnoticed. It is perfect for spring, summer, and autumn days, whether for a romantic evening or a get-together with friends.

A Fresh Opening and Warm Drydown

The fragrance pyramid is built on contrasts. Top notes of juicy Pineapple, citrusy Orange, and a Green accord create an invigorating, playful opening.

The heart unfolds with delicate Lily of the Valley, adding floral softness. A base of Coconut, Musk, and a Woody accord leaves a warm, slightly sweet trail.

Inspiration and Style

The black bottle with pink accents highlights the fragrance's originality and multifaceted character. Twentyone Black is the choice of bold, confident girls who are not afraid to stand out.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The scent is interesting, its sweetness reminds me of something from the luxury world. It smells decent, but there's a certain cohesiveness, like it's a piece of candy. Coconut is noticeable, but just a little, which adds to its mystery 🤔

The scent is simply cloying, with such sweetness that it makes your teeth hurt. I couldn't find a way to use it; it's too bright and persistent. I didn't even dare to use it as an air freshener
