The olfactory structure of Private Grey is built as a layered story, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Saint Hilaire is clear in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

In a unified mixed pyramid the opening appears as one connected movement with a creamy-floral mood: Amber, Geranium, Jasmine, Lavender, Lemon, Lily of the Valley and Moss. In this format 7 notes act as one coherent layer, building creamy romanticism that keeps the opening compact and balanced.

The heart and base are perceived as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which gives the structure continuity.

The internal accord map is driven by these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Floral and Wood with each one in a clear role. Additional accords such as Mineral add depth to the backdrop.
