Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Yes for Men unfolds as a layered story, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The signature of Sergio Soldano comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de toilette sets a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

From the group perspective the composition is built around Green, Wood and Musk. At family level the fragrance belongs to Musk and Wood.

When the structure is mixed the notes arrive together with a pure botanical mood: Green Chord, Woody Accord and musk. In this case 3 notes work as one voice, forming natural freshness that keeps the opening compact and balanced.

The deeper layers are felt as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which gives the structure continuity.

The accord profile is shaped by these accords: Musc and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. The profile is masculine, which clarifies the composition character.

In summary Yes for Men sounds complete from start to finish — the start forms character, the middle layer carries the identity, and the base secures the trail. These are the fragrances best judged on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. The scent reminds me of soapy greens with musk and woody notes. Over time, it gets weird and loses its appeal. It feels cheap, both in its smell and its impact on the wallet 💔
