Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Dog Star unfolds as a continuous scent journey, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Soivohle is clear in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail.

The internal accord map is shaped by these accords: Fruit, Musc, Wood and Marine forming a compact and readable structure. The profile is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

Without strict stage separation the opening appears as one connected movement with a architectural woody mood: Patchouli, Peach, Sea Shells, Vetiver, Woody Accord and musk. In this format 6 notes work as one integrated frame, creating a sense of noble depth that reads as cohesive from the start.

The inner phases are perceived as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which gives the structure continuity.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Wood, Fruit, Animals and Musk.
