Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Eau de Stilton is built as a continuous scent journey, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The style of Stilton is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail.

When the structure is mixed the opening appears as one connected movement with a refreshing grassy mood: Angelica, Clary Sage, Valerian and Yarrow. Here 4 notes sound as one integrated frame, creating natural freshness that keeps the opening compact and balanced.

The heart and base are read as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The olfactory framework is shaped by these accords: Aromatic with each one in a clear role. The gender direction is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

From the group perspective the composition is built around Green, Aromatic, Wood and Earthy / Mossy. Within olfactory families the composition sits in Fern and Green.

Overall Eau de Stilton sounds complete from start to finish — the start forms character, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the scent structures best experienced through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Eau de Stilton toilet water appeared thanks to English cheesemakers who make one of the most disgusting cheeses - Stilton. In 2006, they introduced this "fragrance," inspired by their favorite delicacy. The manufacturer claims that the perfume has a bright fruity and soft earthy scent, which, in their opinion, resembles sharp blue cheese. To somehow mask this terrible aroma, natural notes were added to the composition - yarrow, valerian, sage, and angelica seeds. But, honestly, even with these additions, Eau de Stilton doesn't save the situation )
