The Allure of Gardenia: Suhad Perfumes Gardenia

When Eastern opulence meets Western elegance, a fragrance capable of stopping time is born.

That is exactly what Suhad Perfumes Gardenia became—a floral olfactory masterpiece launched in 2013.

Created for confident women, this perfume instantly captures attention and leaves an unforgettable trail.

Behind this composition stand two perfumery geniuses: the legendary Christian Carbonnel (Chris Maurice) and the brand’s founder, Suhad Al-Qenaei.

Their collaboration is a perfect synthesis of European craftsmanship and Kuwait’s passion for luxury.

It is no surprise that Suhad Perfumes, a house born in the heart of Kuwait in 2005, is renowned for precisely such multifaceted, sensual fragrances.

The fragrance belongs to the Floral family and comes in an eau de parfum concentration, giving it exceptional longevity.

Its very strong sillage turns every appearance into a true occasion. This is a fragrance for those who are not afraid to be the center of attention.

The Gardenia Note: The Queen of Flowers in Focus

At the heart of the composition lies a single yet utterly regal note—gardenia.

This white flower unfolds in all its splendor: creamy and sweet, with subtle green and fruity nuances.

In Suhad Perfumes Gardenia, gardenia resonates richly and expansively, creating the illusion that you have found yourself in a blooming garden beneath the southern sun.

Despite the apparent simplicity of its pyramid, the fragrance cannot be called flat. It reveals different facets, from the delicate freshness of petals to a warm, almost velvety depth.

This makes it the perfect choice for both daytime outings and romantic evenings.

What to Compare It To and How to Wear It

Lovers of luxurious floral fragrances are sure to appreciate this composition.

If you are looking for something with a similar mood, consider Tom Ford Black Orchid—its sensuality and richness echo those of Gardenia.

Or try Lancôme Ô d'Azur for a lighter floral interpretation. And if you love a deep rose accent, recall Nina Ricci L’Extase Rose Absolue.

Suhad Perfumes Gardenia is not merely a perfume; it is an olfactory jewel. It is ideal for women who value quality, heritage, and uncompromising beauty.

Apply it to your pulse points, and let the gardenia trail speak for you.

Description of the composition

The composition of Suhad Perfumes Gardenia is built around a single yet majestic note: gardenia.

This white flower unfolds from the very first seconds, enveloping you in a sweet, creamy cloud with barely perceptible green and fruity nuances.

At its heart, the fragrance becomes richer and more velvety, while in the base it turns warm and deep.

The absence of additional notes does not make it boring; on the contrary, it allows gardenia to shine in all its regal beauty.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

at first I was pretty skeptical, since the bottle wasn't attractive at all. but actually the scent turned out to be pleasant. it's sweetish, with creamy notes and a light balsamic accent. reminds me of something mature, but at the same time there's something light and playful about it, as if it combines different moods

This is such a heavy floral scent, it's just wild. With oriental notes, but not in a good way, more like a drag. Like it stinks of sandalwood and resin, and that's not super nice. Not bad, but I can't stand it on myself in winter, it literally chokes me till I cry 😤
