The Allure of the East: Hamsah by Swiss Arabian

Introducing Hamsah, an Eau de Parfum from the iconic brand Swiss Arabian. This women's fragrance is a true fairy tale captured in a bottle.

It belongs to the floral and woody fragrance families, creating a unique balance of softness and strength.

Founded in 1974, Swiss Arabian expertly combines Swiss precision with Arabian opulence.

Hamsah is a vivid example of this fusion: it takes the best of both worlds to give you an unforgettable experience.

The fragrance seems to transport you to an Oriental bazaar, where spices, flowers, and precious resins intertwine.

Hamsah has a delicate, subtle trail classified as soft. This is not a bold, attention-grabbing fragrance, but rather an intimate accessory that reveals itself up close.

It is perfect for evening dates, cozy get-togethers, or a romantic dinner. Yet it will not go unnoticed during the day either, provided you choose the right look to match.

The fragrance bottle deserves special attention: clear glass and a crescent-shaped cap symbolize mystery and femininity.

Hamsah was created for those who want to feel like a princess from an Oriental fairy tale: refined, mysterious, and alluring. It is an olfactory adornment that will highlight your individuality.

Be inspired and explore something new: if you enjoy Hamsah, take a look at similar compositions, such as Elie Saab Le Parfum Intense, Elie Saab Le Parfum, or Elie Saab Le Parfum Edition Feuilles d'Or.

They also celebrate floral-woody harmony.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The Hamsah composition unfolds gradually, like an oriental poem. The top note is juicy, sun-kissed orange blossom (neroli), which immediately sets a floral mood.

At the heart of the fragrance, sensual jasmine blooms, adding depth and sweetness. The base is a warm, comforting accord of cedar, honey, patchouli, and rose.

These notes give the fragrance its woody longevity and honeyed softness. Together, they create a refined, memorable trail.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The scent of white flowers, as if enveloped in honey, is truly impressive. It's not overly sweet, but it has such a rich and lingering sweetness. This is a truly feminine and delicate scent that creates comfort on cold days

Grape lemonade, right? Too thin and transparent, like something out of a cartoon. This isn't perfume, just another air freshener that doesn't evoke any emotions. Sweetly flirtatious, but nothing more. I don't understand why this is even needed 😒

Alcohol-based Arabian perfumes truly unfold beautifully on the skin, without unnecessary frills. Hamsa simply captivated me from the first application. For two months now, every time I go into my favorite Arabian goods store, I apply it to my wrist. And each time I enjoy this amazing honey-floral bouquet. The scent is feminine and alluring. It smells a bit dry, like a mixture of hay with delicate sweet flowers, warmed by the hot August sun

How wonderfully the delicate shade of orange is captured! 🌼 And then the floral notes unfold, creating a true masterpiece. For this fragrance, I only have one word: EXQUISITE. Even if you wear it not for an event, but just to the office or for a walk, it will still remain true to its character. Like true thoroughbred animals, its essence cannot be hidden anywhere 🐾
