Pheromone perfume: can fragrances increase attractiveness?

In 2023, the Korean brand Tamburins, born in Seoul and becoming a sensory statement from the creators of Gentle Monster, released the fragrance Brown.
It is a unisex composition in eau de parfum concentration, belonging to woody, floral, and balsamic families.
Brown is not just a scent, but a mood: warm, mysterious, and very modern.
The fragrance unfolds unconventionally: the opening offers smoky incense and green freshness of grass (here you feel the balsamic line), the heart plays with the contrast of noble mahogany wood and delicate rose, and the base wraps you in amber, patchouli, and oak.
The perfume sounds deep, but its sillage is subtle — it's an ideal choice for situations when you want to be heard but not loud.
Brown requires precision: on skin, it should be applied "in a cloud" — spray in front of you and walk into the fragrant mist.
On clothes, 2–3 sprays are enough for the scent to last several hours without being overwhelming.
If you love Brown, check out The Spirit of Dubai Fakhama — it has similar woody-balsamic accents.
And for those looking for something more juicy, Edgardio Chilini Passion Fruit Sorbet is interesting, though it's a completely different story.
The fragrance is highly persistent and lasts on the skin for up to 8–10 hours, gradually revealing its notes and allowing you to enjoy the full bouquet throughout the day
A subtle trail—just a hint of fragrance
The perfume has a rich aroma that will help you stand out from the crowd and create a memorable image
A rich and elegant fragrance that gently unfolds on the skin and lasts most of the day, leaving a delicate trail
Perfumes for the fall and winter seasons often contain notes of vanilla, spices, ambergris, wood, and other warm accords, creating a feeling of comfort and warmth during the cold months
The pyramid of Tamburins Brown is built on contrasts. The top notes — incense and grass — create a smoky-green start.
The heart unfolds with noble mahogany and rose, combining woody power with floral softness.
The base of amber, patchouli, and oak adds depth, warmth, and a slight earthiness, making the fragrance cozy and enveloping.
