Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Ambr G unfolds as a living composition, where accents shift without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of The Perfumist is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

When the structure is mixed the opening appears as one connected movement with a resinous voluminous mood: Amber and Grey Ambergris. In this case 2 notes work as one integrated frame, building meditative density that feels seamless.

The middle and base stages are felt as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which gives the structure continuity.

The accord profile rests on these accords: Amber and Mineral without random overlap. The profile is unisex, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

At olfactory-group level the profile is anchored in Balsamic and Animals.

Overall Ambr G holds a coherent structure — the opening sets direction, the central phase adds depth, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the scent structures best experienced on skin.
