Description of the composition

The scent of Poor Dove is built as an expressive line of development, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The signature of The Strange South is evident in details that define the fragrance identity. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

The accord profile is built around these accords: Gourmet, Floral, Wood and Mineral forming a compact and readable structure. The stylistic positioning is unisex, which clarifies the composition character.

When the pyramid is blended into one block the opening appears as one connected movement with a resinous voluminous mood: Amber, Spruce, Tonka bean, Tuberose and Violet. In this case 5 notes sound as one coherent layer, forming enveloping resinous depth that feels seamless.

The inner phases are read as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

From the group perspective the composition is built around Balsamic, Wood, Spicy and Whiteflower. The palette also extends to Floral.
