Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Black evolves as a layered story, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Tom Cobani is recognizable from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

At olfactory-group level the profile is anchored in Green, Citrus, Fruit and Aromatic. The palette also extends to Floral, Leather, Wood and Musk. From a family perspective the fragrance belongs to Leather and Wood.

In the top tier you sense grassy-green first notes: Cucumber, Mandarin and Melon.

In the central layer you sense Basil, Geranium and Sage carrying a noble herbal direction.

The internal accord map is built around these accords: Aromatic, Aquatic, Citrus and Floral without random overlap. Secondary accord layers such as Fruit, Musc, Wood and Leather enrich the profile without taking over. The stylistic positioning is masculine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

In summary Black holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the middle layer carries the identity, and the base secures the trail. This is the type of composition best understood through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This fragrance reminds me of some watery porridge of cucumbers and melons. Green, yes, but it feels like it's pressing on your brain. The drydown is kind of harsh and unpleasant. More serious than Blue Seduction by Banderas, but that doesn't make it any better. Just another fragrance that doesn't leave a pleasant aftertaste
