Perfume information

Description of the composition

The scent of A Better Man evolves as a layered story, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Toni Gard is evident in details that define the fragrance identity. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de toilette keeps the right density and pace of development.

From the group perspective the composition is built around Citrus, Spicy, Drinks and Wood. The framework further includes Ambery and Musk. From a family perspective the composition sits in Fern and Wood.

In the first seconds you sense sparkling-drinkable opening notes: Bergamot, Black Pepper, Gin and Tonic.

When the opening settles you meet Ginger, Juniper and White Cedar carrying a velvety sandalwood direction.

The accord profile is driven by these accords: Citrus, Musc, Wood and Amber forming a compact and readable structure. Background accords such as Spicy and Alcoholic expand the olfactory volume in the background. The gender direction is masculine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

In summary A Better Man reads as a cohesive composition — the first stage creates momentum, the heart develops the core line, and the base secures the trail. These are the scent structures best judged on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

What a fresh scent! It really reminds me of cold water, but with a bright, cologne-like character. Sourish alcoholic notes blend perfectly with woody accents, green nuances, and invigorating spices. Its sillage is pretty decent, despite the cologne style!! All in all, this is a great pick for anyone looking for something energizing and out of the ordinary
