Description of the composition

The note pyramid of VM for Her is shaped as a continuous scent journey, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The style of Victor Manuelle comes through in the way notes appear and fade. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum sets the right density and pace of development.

As soon as the fragrance opens you catch sparkling citrus first note: Citrus accord. This single 1 note forms sunny vitality that is impossible to miss.

In the central layer you meet Lavender holding a cool herbal direction. In the base the composition is fixed through Magnolia and Rose, shaping a warm petal trail.

The internal accord map is built around these accords: Aromatic, Citrus and Floral forming a compact and readable structure. The profile is feminine, which clarifies the composition character.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Citrus, Green, Floral and Whiteflower. At family level the scent maps to Citrus and Floral.

Taken together VM for Her reads as a cohesive composition — the opening sets direction, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. This is the type of composition best experienced through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The lavender in this scent smells quite strange to me, as it's more often found in men's perfumes. But here it manifests differently: the flowers smell both cold and very tender 🌸
