Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Colette X Vilhelm unfolds as a continuous scent journey, where accents shift without rush and without gaps. The signature of Vilhelm Parfumerie comes through in details that define the fragrance identity. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum emphasizes a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

From the group perspective the composition is built around Fruit, Citrus, Wood and Leather. The palette also extends to Mineral and Gourmet. At family level the scent maps to East, Fruit and Leather.

As soon as the fragrance opens you sense juicy fruity opening notes: Coconut and Pomelo.

When the opening settles you notice Fig and Tobacco keeping a velvety fruity direction.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Citrus, Fruit, Wood and Leather forming a compact and readable structure. Additional accords such as Mineral add depth to the backdrop. The stylistic positioning is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read. In longevity terms High suggests confident staying power.

Taken together Colette X Vilhelm reads as a cohesive composition — the start forms character, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail. These are the fragrances best judged on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Oh, how interesting this combination of notes sounds! Unfortunately, I haven't been able to try it yet, but I'm eagerly awaiting the moment I can enjoy this wonder

Looks like it was a limited edition, and most likely, you can't get it anymore. The combination of leather, fig, and tobacco, plus a bit of salt, creates an incredible fruity-tart sensation. Very unusual, but a really cool scent! ))

The fig scent is simply stunning! Depending on the weather, it can show up differently: sometimes you get herbal and tobacco notes, and other times it's coconut and milk. Eventually, all of that smoothly transitions into a sweet-salty sandalwood. I'm absolutely loving it
