Fragrance information:

In 2018, Parfums Vintage introduced Emperor Extrait — a fragrance that's hard to forget. A unisex fragrance belonging to the wood, musk, and floral families. The author of this composition is Damien Stammers, and that explains a lot. Concentration — perfume extract: exactly what it needs to be.

The home of this fragrance is the United Kingdom. Emperor Extrait Parfums Vintage unfolds gradually, effortlessly, and with great refinement — a perfect choice for day or evening.

Description of the composition

The composition of Emperor Extrait evolves as an expressive line of development, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The signature of Parfums Vintage is recognizable from the opening to the final trail. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Perfume extract supports a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

The accord architecture rests on these accords: Citrus, Floral, Fruit and Musc forming a compact and readable structure. Secondary accord layers such as Wood, Amber and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The profile is unisex, which clarifies the composition character.

As soon as the fragrance opens you meet sweet-fresh fruity opening notes: Apple, Juniper berries and Pineapple.

In the heart you sense Bergamot, Jasmine and Rose carrying a pure citrus-floral direction.

At olfactory-group level the profile is anchored in Fruit, Citrus, Whiteflower and Floral. The framework further includes Ambery, Wood, Gourmet and Musk.

Overall Emperor Extrait sounds complete from start to finish — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best judged through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. At first you smell bright bergamot and lime, but then comes a powerful ambroxan that just wears out your nose. It smells like Creed Aventus, so you could consider it a more affordable option 😅
