Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Vertical Limit is built as a living composition, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The style of Viviane Vendelle comes through in the way notes appear and fade. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail.

The accord architecture rests on these accords: Aromatic, Floral, Fruit and Musc with each one in a clear role. Secondary accord layers such as Wood, Spicy and Mineral add depth to the backdrop. The profile is masculine, which clarifies the composition character.

In the first seconds you detect vibrant berry top notes: Apple, Blackcurrant and Fallen leaves.

At the core of development you detect Clove, Geranium and Thyme carrying a cinnamon-nutmeg direction. At the foundation the structure settles through Amber, Cedar, Sandalwood and musk, shaping a earthy woody-resinous trail.

This scent seems to have an unpleasant sourness. The combination of leafy greens and blackcurrant berries with geranium and pine needles looks quite strange. It reminds me of cologne and, unfortunately, causes discomfort, even a headache
