Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Manila Oud unfolds as a living composition, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Wren Atelier is clear in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Perfume extract emphasizes the depth and body this composition needs.

The stylistic positioning is unisex, which clarifies the composition character.

At the opening of the pyramid you catch piquant warm top notes: Calamondin, Ginger and Nutmeg.

In the heart you meet Banana, Elemi and Jasmine holding a tempting fruity direction. At drydown level the structure settles through Ambergris, Frankincense, Labdanum, Leather accord, Oud and Patchouli, reinforcing a thick resinous trail.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Citrus, Spicy, Fruit and Balsamic. The framework further includes Whiteflower, Ambery, Leather and Wood. At family level the fragrance belongs to Balsamic, Floral, Leather, Spicy and Wood.

Taken together Manila Oud holds a coherent structure — the opening sets direction, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail. These are the fragrances best understood through real development.
