Description of the composition

The composition of Un Extrait de Liane unfolds as an expressive line of development, where accents shift without rush and without gaps. The style of Yan Frolov comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Citrus, Wood, Spicy and Green. It also reaches into Sweet, Balsamic, Floral and Earthy / Mossy. At family level the scent maps to Fern and Green.

When the pyramid is blended into one block the opening appears as one connected movement with a noble cedar mood: Bergamot, Citrus accord, Fir, Ginger, Grapevine, Grass and Hay.

The middle and base stages are felt as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.
