Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Al Maha is built as a living composition, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The style of Yas Perfumes is recognizable from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum keeps a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Citrus, Spicy, Floral and Wood. The palette also extends to Ambery and Gourmet. At family level the composition sits in East and Wood.

Right at the start you meet sparkling citrus opening notes: Bergamot and Pink pepper.

At the core of development you detect Geranium and Patchouli carrying a opulent floral direction. At drydown level the line is anchored through Ambergris and Woody Accord, extending a viscous resinous trail.

The accord architecture is driven by these accords: Citrus, Floral, Wood and Amber with each one in a clear role. Background accords such as Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The profile is unisex, which clarifies the composition character.

Overall Al Maha holds a coherent structure — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail. These are the fragrances best experienced in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.
Sillage
Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

There's too much sharpness, roughness, and patchouli here, which makes the scent just scream. It's clearly unisex, but neither femininity nor masculinity is felt in it

The scent is really strange. The smell of resin and dampness, as if someone opened a tube of joint ointment. The balsamic notes are too intrusive, they just jump right into your nose. Its longevity is impressive, but that's not always a plus. My husband even noticed something in his jacket pocket that reminded him of Viprosal. All in all, not the most pleasant experience )
