Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Monogramme unfolds as a cohesive olfactory arc, where accents shift without rush and without gaps. The signature of Yves de Sistelle is evident from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Citrus, Green, Floral and Whiteflower. It also reaches into Wood, Gourmet and Musk.

As soon as the fragrance opens you meet sparkling citrus first notes: Bergamot, Gardenia leaf and Marigold.

When the opening settles you notice Jasmine, Lilac and Rose keeping a opulent floral direction. At the foundation the line is anchored through Noble Woods, Vanilla and musk, extending a deep woody trail.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Citrus, Floral, Musc and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. Additional accords such as Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The gender direction is feminine, which clarifies the composition character.

Taken together Monogramme reads as a cohesive composition — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best judged on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Man, it's some springy, yellow, and floral thing. The scent is really light, but at the same time it's sweetish and more grown-up than the Guerlain one. If I wear that one myself, then this one, honestly, would be more suitable for my mom or aunt

What a wonderful perfume! It makes me think of summer smoothly transitioning into autumn. It has lots of honey notes, and a slight bitterness adds interest. The warm greenery makes it especially cozy. There's sweetness in the scent, but it still remains very refined 🌼
