Discovering Zeromolecole Nuvole

Italian niche brand Zeromolecole, founded in Turin, launched its fragrance Nuvole in 2010.

This is a Eau de Parfum in the unisex category, blending the freshness of green notes with the softness of floral accords.

Perfumer Stefania Marzufero Boni created this airy cloud, and her signature can be felt in every note.

Character and Mood

Nuvole is a mood fragrance—light and elusive, just like its name, which means “clouds.”

Its trail is virtually imperceptible, making the composition ideal for intimate moments and everyday wear.

It does not shout for attention, but whispers, enveloping its wearer in a delicate veil of cleanliness and freshness. This unisex perfume will suit anyone who appreciates understated elegance.

From Brand to Fragrance

Zeromolecole is Italian poetry in niche perfumery, and Nuvole is a vivid example of this.

Stefania Marzufero Boni, the owner of the iconic Maître Parfumeur boutique, created a fragrance that reflects the brand’s philosophy: sensual storytelling through olfactory imagery.

If you enjoyed Nuvole, take a look at similar compositions: The Body Shop Eau de Zitron, Arabesque Perfumes Musk Hayati, and Fragrance World Muski.

Description of the composition

The olfactory pyramid of Nuvole is built around four key notes. The top accord is sparkling Lemon, which instantly delivers a burst of freshness.

At the heart, delicate Flax Blossom unfolds, lending the composition transparency and a soft green quality. The base combines woody Cedar with damp Moss, creating a solid yet airy foundation.

This minimalist accord feels clean and natural, evoking a walk through a spring forest after the rain.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Another perfume from Zeromolecole that's almost impossible to find in Russian stores. Honestly, I had no idea what linen smells like in perfumery, but this fragrance clearly adds a certain lightness and a sense of freshness 😒
