401 È Amatrice — the own brand of the Serafini family from Amatrice (Lazio, Italy). The idea to release their own fragrance came to them some time after the earthquake of August 24, 2016, which almost completely destroyed their hometown; before it, Marina and Roberto owned one of the oldest perfume shops in the province. The first composition of the brand is a tribute to Amatrice, its past and present; its author was perfumer Lorenzo Dante Ferro.
