Brand «Fatima Lopes»

Fatima Lopes was born on March 8, 1965, on the island of Madeira, Portugal. She showed an interest in the fashion world from a very young age. Later, as a teenager, unable to find dresses to her taste in stores, she began designing and sewing her own outfits. Her good command of languages helped her work as a tour guide. In 1990, she moved to Lisbon to work as a fashion designer.

Together with her friend, Fatima soon opened her first boutique, where she sold clothes from famous designers. The Fatima Lopes label was launched in 1992, and the store was renamed accordingly. In Paris, Fatima presented her collection in 1994.

In 1996, a store was opened in Paris, and Fatima's collections began to include bags and shoes. In 2000, Fatima Lopes herself appeared on the runway and created a real sensation – she was wearing the most expensive bikini in the world. The swimsuit, made of diamonds and gold, cost about one million dollars. Two years later, Mattel invited Fatima to create a Barbie doll in a similar bikini.

In the United States, Fatima Lopes opened her first flagship store in Los Angeles in 2003. The official uniform of the Portuguese national football team for the World Cup was also designed by Fatima Lopes in 2006.

This year, the first perfume composition under the Fatima Lopes brand, called Be Mine, will be released. The fragrance will highlight the individuality and femininity of its wearer and her drive for new successes. The Be Mine composition will appeal to brave and irresistible heroines with leadership qualities and the ability to win.
