Brand «Lumene»

The brand Lumene, whose name translates from Latin as 'light', was created in 1948. In Finland, near Kuhmoinen, there is a clean lake called Lummenne, but many tourists did not remember the quirky combination of consonants and simply skipped them.

In 1948, the company Noiro Oy split from Orion and began producing cosmetic products that women loved due to affordable prices and good quality. Lumene products appeared only in 1970. Extensive advertising, excellent quality, and several years of fruitful work elevated the brand to one of the best companies in Finland. The company's assortment expanded annually.

In 2002, a research center was created to study the effects of cosmetics on cell rejuvenation, facial skin, vitamin saturation, and nutrition of human skin. The Lumene brand released the fragrance Kuulas, with a light composition and citrus freshness, ideal for women who prefer light compositions.
