Brand «Mayssa»

Maysa is one of the few singers of the "smooth jazz" genre who consistently tops the Billboard sales charts. She was born in Baltimore and realized at a young age that she wanted to become a singer. This happened at the age of six when her parents took her to see the musical "Purlie."

Maysa is a graduate of Morgan State University with a degree in classical performance. As a senior, she met the famous Stevie Wonder. After university, moving to North Hollywood, she participated in Stevie Wonder's project Wonderlove. In the early 90s, Maysa became a member of the famous British group Incognito, moved to London in 1992, and recorded the album "Tribes, Vibes & Scribes."
