Lionel Shaw aimed to craft a world-class perfume, and according to connoisseurs and fragrance experts, he succeeded. Before finding new ingredients for the composition, the perfumer always meditated to detach from everyday life and focus on the spiritual. All components were sourced from old and renowned companies in Grasse that produce the best oils in the world.
The composition Menelik Pour Homme, as well as the brand itself, is named after a king of the same name. According to legend, the ancient king Menelik was the son of King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba. The office of Menelik Fragrances is located in Johannesburg, South Africa.
