A design legend in the world of fragrances

Marc Rosen is a name synonymous with elegance and visual poetry in perfumery. This outstanding artist and designer has dedicated his career to creating not just bottles, but true architectural masterpieces that become iconic symbols of fragrances. His works are a bridge between art, fashion, and perfumery, where every line and shape tells a story hidden within.

Education and philosophy of style

A graduate of the prestigious Pratt Institute, Marc Rosen originally aspired to become a perfumer, but fate had other plans. His talent for design and sculpture shifted his focus from creating a scent to creating its perfect shell. Rosen believes that the bottle is the first encounter with a fragrance, and it must be flawless. His signature style is sculptural, clean lines, sensual shapes, and uncompromising attention to detail, transforming perfume into an object of desire even before the first spray.

Iconic works and collaborations with fashion giants

Rosen's career is a story of collaboration with industry icons. His most famous project is the iconic bottle for Elizabeth Arden's Red Door. The bright red door, which has become a symbol of bold femininity, is a classic he created for Elizabeth Arden. No less significant was his work with Kaspar himself, for whom Marc created the bottle for the Karl Lagerfeld fragrance KL Karl Lagerfeld. The minimalist black monolith with a gold edge perfectly reflected the aesthetics of the fashion maestro himself and the Karl Lagerfeld brand.

His own brand as a manifesto

The desire for complete creative control led Marc Rosen to create his own perfume line bearing his name — Marc Rosen. Here, he fully realizes his philosophy of unity of form and content, personally overseeing every aspect: from the concept of the fragrance to the final touches in the packaging design. His perfumes are intimate, exquisite stories, often created in collaboration with masters such as Lisa Hoffman, for whom he designed the bottle for the fragrance Lisa Hoffman - Madagarcar Orchid.

The legacy of the architect of emotions

Marc Rosen redefined the very role of the designer in perfumery, proving that a bottle can elevate a fragrance to the status of a cultural phenomenon. His works are held in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and other institutions, and his influence is felt in the approaches of new generations of designers. Today, by studying his best creations, the perfume community and fragrance connoisseurs pay tribute to a man who teaches us not only to smell, but also to see the beauty of perfume.
