The Character and History of the Fragrance

Afnan Cherry Bouquet is a women's eau de parfum launched in 2024, created for those who love juicy fruity compositions with an expressive gourmand character.

The fragrance is part of the Bouquet collection and reflects the brand's modern take on seductive, distinctive and instantly recognizable perfume accords.

The house of Afnan originates from the United Arab Emirates and has been blending Eastern richness with contemporary international aesthetics since 2010.

Cherry Bouquet continues this direction with particular vibrancy: its fruity juiciness meets soft sweetness, floral translucence and a warm woody base.

How Cherry Bouquet Develops

From the very first seconds, the composition smells appetizing and energetic: the cherry accord takes on an almond softness and a subtle liqueur-like nuance.

This is not a simple candy-like sweetness, but a dimensional fruity-gourmand opening with an expressive, almost velvety character.

As it develops, the fragrance becomes more floral and rounded.

Rose and sambac jasmine add rich petal-like depth, while plum and raspberry maintain a juicy berry contrast that keeps Cherry Bouquet dynamic and preserves its feminine mood.

In the base, sweet nuances are gradually framed by cedar, patchouli, vetiver and spicy clove. Vanilla softens the woody-spicy accord and leaves a warm, comforting drydown on the skin.

Thanks to this progression, the fragrance feels multilayered, moving from bright cherry freshness to an elegant, slightly spicy depth.

Wearability and Sillage

Cherry Bouquet is suitable for walks, social gatherings, dates and evening outings when you want to add a distinctive touch to your look.

It develops best in cool weather and during the transitional seasons, but moderate application also makes it suitable for daytime wear.

This fragrance has noticeable sillage: it does not go unnoticed, yet careful application keeps its presentation pleasant and polished.

One to two sprays on the skin are enough to let the composition unfold gradually without becoming overly sweet.

One to two sprays are also recommended on clothing; choose the distance carefully and avoid delicate, light-colored fabrics.

Longevity and the nuances of the fragrance may vary depending on the temperature, skin type and amount applied.

Who Will Enjoy This Fragrance

This eau de parfum will appeal to lovers of cherry, fruity and gourmand compositions, especially those who appreciate the combination of juiciness and a warm, spicy base.

The cherry here does not come across as overly frivolous: almond, floral and woody notes make it more mature, seductive and versatile.

For further exploration, consider PREparfumer Cherry Gourmet, as well as Max Philip Cherry and Stephane Humbert Lucas 777 Qom Chilom.

They offer an opportunity to compare different interpretations of the cherry theme, while Cherry Bouquet stands out for its own balance of berry sweetness, flowers and warm woods.

The perfumer's name and other concentrations of this fragrance are not specified in the available data.

Description of the composition

Fragrance Notes Pyramid

The top notes of Cherry Bouquet open with almond and an expressive cherry accord blending cherry, sweet cherry and cherry liqueur.

The almond facet softens the opening and adds a creamy, gourmand texture.

Damask rose, sambac jasmine, plum and raspberry unfold at the heart of the composition. Floral notes soften the juicy berry accord, while plum lends depth and velvety richness to the development.

The base accord is built around cedar, patchouli, vetiver, vanilla and spicy clove. Woody and spicy nuances gradually become more pronounced, leaving a warm and seductive trail around the skin.

Olfactively, the fragrance combines fruity, floral and gourmand nuances with boozy, white-floral, spicy and woody accents.

The central theme of the composition is ripe cherry surrounded by flowers, vanilla and noble woods.

The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

A very worthy cherry: sweet, dense, gourmand, and the almond is noticeable from beginning to end. First it's sweet cherry with almond and cherry liqueur, then sweet smoky plum with spices arrives. In the base, it becomes a cherry dessert with vanilla and that same almond. Mood-wise it's closer not to TF Lost Cherry, but to the cherry-almond Wrap Me in Dreams by HFC. Longevity and sillage are excellent, an absolute find at this price
