Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Mazaj Gold is built as an expressive line of development, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Afnan comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum emphasizes the right density and pace of development.

The olfactory framework is built around these accords: Balsamic, Citrus, Floral and Fruit forming a compact and readable structure. Secondary accord layers such as Musc, Wood, Amber and Leather add depth to the backdrop. The profile is masculine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

At the opening of the pyramid you detect vibrant berry top notes: Bergamot, Blackcurrant and Peach.

In the central layer you detect Jasmine, Orange blossom, Rose and Violet carrying a sensual jasmine direction.

From the group perspective the structure relies on Citrus, Fruit, Whiteflower and Floral. The framework further includes Ambery, Balsamic, Leather and Wood.

Taken together Mazaj Gold holds a coherent structure — the opening sets direction, the central phase adds depth, while the drydown anchors the memory. This is the type of composition best experienced in wear.

The perfume reminds me of sweet peach and blackcurrant jam, but with notes of rose and a slight rubbery aftertaste, as if something was slightly burnt. It's very rich and powdery. It unfolds especially harmoniously on confident and stylish men 🌟
