Identity and Release History

Welcome to the world of Vilhelm Parfumerie and its charming creation — Fleur Burlesque, released in 2015.

This fragrance, whose name translates to "Floral Burlesque," embodies the playful and theatrical aesthetic inherent in niche perfumery, immediately attracting lovers of sophisticated compositions.

Founded by Jan Vilhelm Ahlgren, the brand Vilhelm Parfumerie is known for its unique approach, combining fashion and the art of perfumery, which is reflected in bold and memorable releases.

Fleur Burlesque has become one of the key fragrances, strengthening the brand's reputation as an innovator in the industry.

The fragrance belongs to the Floral and Oriental families, making it multifaceted: the tenderness of flowers harmoniously intertwines with warm oriental accents, creating a unique character for those seeking something special.

Positioning and Wearability

Fleur Burlesque is positioned as a Women's fragrance in the concentration of Eau de Parfum, providing excellent longevity and richness.

Its Medium trail leaves an elegant trace, perfectly suited for daily wear or evening events, without overwhelming others, but ensuring presence.

To achieve the optimal effect, it is recommended to apply 1 to 2 sprays on the skin and 1 to 2 sprays on clothing, allowing the notes to unfold gradually and highlight their richness.

This fragrance particularly shines in cool seasons or for special occasions, thanks to the warm oriental notes that add sensuality and depth.

If you are inspired by Fleur Burlesque, you might enjoy similar fragrances: Xerjoff Gran Ballo, Bvlgari Splendida Jasmin Noir, and Juicy Couture Viva la Juicy, which also explore floral and oriental themes, offering alternative options to expand your perfume collection.

Authors and Influence

The creation of Fleur Burlesque is the result of collaboration between two outstanding perfumers: Jan Vilhelm Ahlgren, the founder of the brand, and Jérôme Epinette, known for his mastery in complex compositions.

Their joint work brought a balance of innovation and classical elegance to the fragrance, which is characteristic of high-quality niche perfumery and reflects the creative spirit of Vilhelm Parfumerie.

This release strengthened the brand's position in the market, attracting fans who value bold and memorable fragrances, and became a symbol of its ability to combine traditions with modern trends.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The fragrance is simply gorgeous, bright and floral, true femininity! 🌸 All the notes listed in the pyramid are perfectly perceptible. The gardenia here is so creamy, the jasmine is simply magnificent, and the sandalwood is soft, but the amber is a bit persistent 💖

The scent is truly delicate and feminine, with white flowers perceptible in it. But besides floral notes, there are also creamy accents and sandalwood present here 🌸

Gardenia with notes of cream and sandalwood, also creamy. A scent that can be called feminine, but with some mysterious twist. Its beauty is simply striking, and nobility is felt with every drop. Longevity? Yes, it's excellent here, simply beyond criticism. This fragrance truly captivates

This fragrance is simply delightful! 🌸 The floral composition is pleasing and attention-grabbing. It perfectly highlights femininity and elegance. I recommend it for women over 30. Although it seems simple, you need to approach it with experience ✨

The fragrance really grabs attention. First, you notice rich notes of jasmine and gardenia, which are literally captivating. Later, sandalwood and amber are added to the floral accents, creating an interesting contrast. It's long-lasting and leaves a sillage, which is nice. It's best worn in cool weather!!!

A white floral fragrance where jasmine and gardenia are felt at the beginning, and sandalwood in the drydown. To be honest, it seems quite banal, and for such a price, I'd want something more exciting 😕

This fragrance is just awful. I have a mini version, and it's not pleasing. Too intrusive and cloying white floral scent. It reminds me of something, but I can't recall what exactly. The longevity, of course, is excellent, but that doesn't save it. It's too sharp and gives me a headache. I don't recommend it if you want something pleasant 😒

What a wonderful scent for women! It reminds me a bit of classic Dior perfumes! It beautifully combines sandalwood, jasmine, and amber, creating a powdery trail! The longevity is simply excellent, I'd recommend it for mature ladies!!! 🌸

How happy I was when I smelled that wonderful opening: gardenia and jasmine, just a bomb! And sandalwood - that's something incredible. But then, after ten minutes, this sharp amber hit me, and it was too much. Patchouli also seemed to sneak into this cocktail. Honestly, it really upset me. And not just in this fragrance, the base is similar in all the ones I've tried from this brand. Maybe it's just on my skin? Good thing I didn't blind-buy it, I was about to add it to my cart

The composition seems simple, but it actually smells very elegant. It's simply a gorgeous bouquet of white flowers!
