Douglas Little is a contemporary American perfumer and visionary whose journey into the world of fragrances began with design. After graduating from Pasadena College of Design, he created visual concepts for titans such as Van Cleef & Arpels and Bergdorf Goodman. However, his passion for perfumery proved stronger, and Douglas traveled to Grasse, the heart of the global perfume industry, to learn the ancient art of composition from scratch. This bold move led him to create his own independent brand, Heretic Parfum, in 2015, making him one of the most interesting figures in contemporary niche perfumery.

Controversial success with Goop

Douglas Little gained real publicity and cult status through his collaboration with actress Gwyneth Paltrow's lifestyle empire Goop. He was the creator of the sensational "This Smells Like My Vagina" candle, which took the media by storm and became a symbol of emancipation and body positivity. The perfumer created a whole line of exquisite fragrances for Goop, from the transparent green Edition 01 to the juicy fruity Edition 04 – Orchard.
