Sultan Pasha is a British perfumer and visionary whose name has become synonymous with the highest level of craftsmanship in the world of niche fragrances. Born and raised in multicultural London, he has had a passion for complex scents since his youth, but his path to creating perfumes was far from straightforward. With a serious education in organic chemistry, Sultan spent a long time building a career in the financial sector. However, his true calling awaited him among bottles of essential oils and absolutes. He started out as a self-taught perfumer, meticulously studying ancient recipes and experimenting with rare ingredients at home, which ultimately led him to found the legendary Sultan Pasha Attars brand in 2012.

Sultan Pasha's signature style is a unique synthesis of Eastern traditions and Western sophistication. He is inspired by both the rich, languid attars of the Middle East and the abstract, elegant French perfume classics of the first half of the 20th century. His training as a chemist allows him to work masterfully with the rarest and most capricious natural materials: precious types of aura, rose, sandalwood, and, of course, gray ambergris. Each of his compositions is a multi-layered, evolving work of art, designed to unfold slowly and thoughtfully on the skin.

In addition to developing his flagship house, Sultan Pasha Attars, the master is known for his close collaboration with the influential niche brand Jovoy Paris. Together with its owner, François Hénin, Sultan founded the unique Coronation Ambergris project, dedicated to the extraction and artistic use of natural ambergris, one of the most mysterious and valuable materials in perfumery. This collaboration has produced exceptional fragrances such as Ballyheigue and Noels, where ambergris reveals itself in all its noble diversity.
