In 2017, Aether introduced Methaldone — a fragrance that's hard to forget. By character, a unisex fragrance drawing from the aromatic and east families. Behind this scent stand Nicolas Chabot and Rodrigo Flores-Roux. Part of the Series 01/Chemical Reaction collection, available as eau de parfum.

Description of the composition

The scent of Methaldone evolves as a cohesive olfactory arc, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Aether comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum supports the right density and pace of development.

In a unified mixed pyramid the opening appears as one connected movement with a warm incense mood: Frankincense, Iris, Metallic notes and Woody Accord.

The heart and base are felt as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which gives the structure continuity.

The accord profile is driven by these accords: Balsamic, Wood, Powdery and Mineral forming a compact and readable structure. The gender direction is unisex, which clarifies the composition character. In longevity terms High points to a sustained drydown presence.
